Australia Post Shop

With more and more customers visiting the Australia Post Shop from their mobile devices, Australia Post engaged Wave Digital to build a responsive website that would provide a better experience to their mobile customers. Since building this mobile solution, Australia Post's mobile visitor numbers have more than doubled. Twenty percent of visitors to the shop are now using mobile devices.

The Brief

  • Provide a first class experience for customers on mobile devices.
  • Improve engagement and conversion rates of mobile visitors.
  • Build the site so it would be able to grow with the expected access levels of mobile users over the foreseeable future.
  • Cater to all mobile users, irrespective of the device or platform they were using (iPhone, iPad, Android etc).

Wave Digital Solution

Using the principles of responsive web design, built a scalable solution which caters to Australia Post’s customers on mobile devices.

Initial feedback from internal and external sources has been highly positive.

Australia Post were able to launch the mobile site in time for the London Olympics to showcase a new range of commemorative stamps.

Wave Digital structured the cloud hosting of the site to deal with spikes and peaks in traffic depending on user demand.
