Geographic Information System (GIS) Integration
As part of our app development process, we can bring your spatial data to life. A geographic information system (GIS) is designed to capture, store and present spatial or geographic data. By bringing together seemingly unrelated data based on their relative position on the Earth’s service, a GIS allows organisations to better identify and analyse patterns and relationships. For example, once the data has been entered into a GIS, the system can then display multiple layers of information on one map such as vegetation, street data, population data and building data.
Wave Digital has worked with a number of clients where a significant component of the app is presenting GIS data. Examples include the VicTraffic app we developed for VicRoads and the OneAsset web app for South East Water.
Wave Digital also has experience integrating apps with other systems, including Xero, Salesforce and SCADA.
