Geographic Information System (GIS) Integration
We can bring your spatial data to life. A geographic information system (GIS) is designed to capture, store and present spatial or geographic data. By bringing together seemingly unrelated data based on their relative position on the Earth’s service, a GIS allows organisations to better identify and analyse patterns and relationships. For example, once the data has been entered into a GIS, the system can then display multiple layers of information on one map such as vegetation, street data, population data and building data.
Wave Digital has worked with a number of clients where a significant component of the app is presenting GIS data. Examples include the VicTraffic app we developed for VicRoads and the OneAsset web app for South East Water.
